A database for searching academic articles is essential to any scientific research. A well-chosen article can provide a decent argument and establish a high level of research validity. The most convenient date base for finding information is PubMed which specializes in medical research. This is where discovered an article on a topic of interest in the list of references. This resource allows you to use the keyword search engine. The possibility of sorting and filtering articles by date and other parameters is also worth noting, which can significantly simplify the search for suitable resources.
I found this review article by Fumincelli et al. (2020) by using the keywords and an investigation over time since finding an article published within five years was fundamentally important. Searching for this article did not meet any particular difficulties. However, possible problems can be noted regarding the excessive number of off-topic articles. For example, if you search for one insufficiently narrowly specialized keyword, there may be articles that could be more relevant to the topic.
Various publications in general journals may not be suitable for supporting scientific research. Scientific publications usually focus on one highly specialized topic, which is well suited to support scientific hypotheses (Evaluating Resources: Journals, n.d.). PubMed Database will provide many scientific articles so that it will be helpful for colleagues. It is also worth mentioning PubMed’s assessment of the credibility of works. It is essential to use only verified resources to assess their credibility and reliability hypotheses (Instructional media: Fundamentals of library research, n.d.). PubMed facilitates this task by providing high-quality papers as they have a strict selection criterion. Hence, I strongly recommend incorporating this system into the research process. Also, the Database is constantly updated with various publications from various sources, which allows you to find the latest work in the area of interest.
