I have conducted statistical research on the blood sugar level of individuals. 18 people were involved in the examination, and the number of female and male participants is equal. The value of blood sugar and frequency were estimated for each one, and the results per individual were filled in the table Blood Sugar Values. As is demonstrated in the table Statistics: Information about Participants, the maximum value comprised 505, while the minimum was 42. The figures presented in the scheme Frequency Statistics reveal that the mean indicator is approximately 148, and the standard deviation is 142. Simple Bar Mean of Blood Sugar by Gender depicts that, on average, the results among men appear to be higher compared to women’s results.
This statistical research may be helpful in case it is applied to my prospectus. Its topic regards the effectiveness of teaching back in the context of improving patients’ outcomes and contributing to patient satisfaction. According to Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (2015), it is assumed to benefit the continuation of the treatment by reducing the likelihood of appearing to diseases again. Within this issue, methods of teaching via a combination of booklet strategy and audiovisual materials and using only booklet strategy are intended to be compared.
Therefore, the statical research described above may be informative in this regard. It may provide essential data on patients’ outcomes without the implementation of the teaching back strategy. In addition, this examination may be expanded in the future. For instance, participants may be divided into two groups: the ones, who completed a course of audiovisual material and read a booklet, and the ones, who only read a booklet. The results may be compared to the initial one and between groups in order to prove the effectiveness of a particular approach.
