Work-Life Balance During COVID-19 Pandemics

During COVID-19, it became extremely important to pay attention to people’s quality of life and psychological conditions. Lorber & Dobnik (2023) have suggested that many medical professionals prioritized balancing work and personal life while staying at home. To understand how people avoided depression and anxiety, such study elements as well-being at the workplace and participation in group activities were used. Moreover, data collection and statistical analyses helped to evaluate the retrieved information.

Support for patients’ well-being has always been one of the main responsibilities of nurses, and this aspect stayed relevant when individuals were moved to remote working. Nurses should have enough knowledge to provide basic support even if the problem is unrelated to the clinical case. Many individuals experienced concentration problems while staying at home, and nurses were the first professionals who had to provide professional help (Lorber & Dobnik, 2023).

Additionally, participation in group sessions is a crucial part of nursing as during COVID-19, even medical workers could experience depressive conditions, and communication stayed important for them. The information gained from patients working at home helped to provide structured data and analyze it to avoid similar problems in the future. Consequently, data collection and statistical analyses stayed relevant to the nursing sphere.

The result of the study showed that people who were collaborating with nurses during their work from home said that they were satisfied with the help of nurses, and many of them showed lead characteristics. Moreover, Lorber & Dobnik (2023) proposed that the difference in age and gender did not affect the results, and the nurse’s help stayed important for every working professional. The results remain valid because the general feedback from patients stayed positive, and some people mentioned that they were highly satisfied with the support service from nurses (Lorber & Dobnik, 2023). The practice was evaluated from different perspectives, and the sessions were conducted with people who work full-time and part-time. I can agree with the results because, during the pandemic times, communication became one of the most important parts of my life to avoid depressive thoughts by staying at home alone.
