Furthermore, I shall acquire relevant skills required for effective management of workers in order to promote adherence to health informatics policies and guidelines. Notably, the training in medical coding is also appealing (Lorenzi & Riley, 2003). Training in medical informatics provides me with the opportunity to secure sensitive details about patients. Notably, crucial patients’ details such as diagnosis, prescribed drugs, and social security particulars must be protected to shun identity theft.

The notable challenges presented by medical informatics profession are diverse. The modifications currently taking place in healthcare laws presents massive challenges. Indicatively, new guidelines might require health institutions to integrate electronic records controls (Lorenzi & Riley, 2003). In this scenario, additional training may be applicable. Undertaking additional training amid the tight work schedule may be challenging.
